We have been entrusted with finding the right home for this charming red roan-and-white colt, born in 2024, who is now looking for a serious and long-term home. Standing approximately 81 cm at the withers today, with his light build and very distinctive colouring, he is truly a little splash of colour who catches everyone’s eye.
But it isn’t just his appearance that makes him special – it is above all his personality.
A True People-Lover
This is an extremely social, affectionate and people-oriented little Shetland pony. He loves people and is often the first one to come over and say hello. He is curious, positive and friendly, with plenty of personality packed into his small frame.
He has been handled extensively and already has a lovely foundation to continue building on. He has been long-reined, regularly trimmed and has his passport. He is healthy and thriving, with no known issues.
He is the kind of pony who will be a joy to continue developing with the right person.
An Interesting Background
His dam is a standard Shetland pony standing approximately 95 cm, while his sire is a Miniature Shetland pony at around 86 cm.
As his parents are different sizes, his final height is difficult to predict with certainty. He currently measures approximately 81 cm and has a lighter build.
His red roan-and-white colouring makes him particularly eye-catching – the kind of colour and markings that are hard to forget.
Lots of Possibilities for the Future
Although he is still young, he already has many lovely qualities to build upon.
With his social temperament, curiosity and light build, we see him as having the potential to become a driving pony, agility pony or family pony.
He already has experience with long-reining and extensive handling, and with the right person beside him, he can continue developing at a calm and confident pace.
